The Eco-Element styling is the same as Paper Mate traditional Element ball pen. It’s a little thicker than the BIC clic stic and has a soft grip. It definitely feels like a more substantial pen in your hand. I think it's the 'highest-end' feeling of all the eco-pens that I've tested.

What makes this pen earth-friendly is that it’s produced from renewable resources, is 35% biodegradable, and is refillable. Barrels are produced from polylactide (PLA), a lactic acid from corn, which is a renewable resource.* Use of PLA decreases depletion of petroleum, an important non-renewable resource! It's the essential element to your next successful green marketing plan.

This eco-pen, with a Tungsten carbide ballpoint, offers the exceptionally smooth writing you'd expect from Paper Mate. The medium point ball writes with black ink.

*Because this product is made from a renewable resource, exposure to temperatures of 140 degrees F or more may affect the quality of the components and/or imprint.

Each pen has a white barrel with your choice of three trim colors:
